Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge Amy Corrigall Jones to serve as Administrative Judge and Judge Christine Croce to serve as Presiding Judge in 2018


Summit County, Ohio: The Summit County Court of Common Pleas General Division judges nominated and approved Judge Amy Corrigall Jones to serve a second term as Administrative Judge in 2018. The Administrative Judge is responsible for and exercises control over the administration, docket, and calendar of the General Division of the Common Pleas Court. Judge Corrigall Jones was elected to a full term to the Common Pleas Court in November 2012 and served as Presiding Judge in 2016 and Administrative Judge in 2017. In addition, Judge Corrigall Jones serves as Presiding Judge of the Summit County Valor Court, a specialized docket serving those who have served our country.

The Summit County Court of Common Pleas General, Domestic Relations, Juvenile, and Probate Divisions nominated and approved Judge Christine Croce to serve her second term as Presiding Judge during 2018. The Presiding Judge calls meetings as necessary for the purpose of discussing and resolving administrative problems common to all divisions of the Common Pleas Court. Judge Croce has served as a judge since 2012 and was appointed to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas in November 2013. Judge Croce was elected to the Common Pleas Court in November 2014 for a full term. In addition, Judge Croce presides over felony drug court, the Turning Point Program.
